Farouk’s House of India has served Indian food to Richmond, Virginia for nearly 40 years. First opened in 1976, Farouk’s has remained in its original Carytown location, always serving the same Northwest Indian cuisine that earned it fans from the beginning.
Your host, Chhinda Sandhu, has over 25 years of culinary experience and greets almost every visitor as they enter the restaurant—eager for the exotic Indian food that only Farouk’s can provide.
Diners will find a menu filled with a wide range of appetizers, soups, beverages, entrees, tandoori, biryanies, breads, vegetable dinners and desserts. When choosing from our vast array of menu items you may increase the spiciness of many dishes by requesting your selection served as follows:
#1 – Hot, #2 – Sweat, #3 – Tears.
There is definitely something delicious for everyone—from vegetarians to lovers of chicken, lamb, beef and seafood.
If you’ve never visited Farouk’s House of India, be sure to stop by soon to find out what you’ve been missing. If you’ve already dined at Farouk’s, thank you.
